    leaving the heart unchanged

Nor should we have imagined a few years ago, that a learned clergyman would have been heard m these days, seriously addressing his parishioners on the perfect Tory Burch Reva Flats pattern he had followed in the erection of their church, and companng its windows to the twelve Apostles, its seven arches to the Tory Burch Sale pillars of the Church, its windows of three devices, to the Trinity, Tory Burch Flats &c. I But such things have happened: and there has been also introduced an addition to the vestments of the clergy, in the shape of a strip of silk, with a fringe and a cross, in the form of the St. Andrew's or Martyr's cross, to be worn in one way by the deacons and m another by the priests. The adoption of this habiliment may appear to be a mere trifle : and so it would be, were it not part of a system calculated to work upon the animal feelings and physical nature, leaving the heart unchanged, and the understanding in darkness as to the spiritual truths of the gospel. In perfect keeping with all theseproceedings, are the lamentations made over the omission of chnsm and other ceremonials m the Tory Burch Outlet baptismal service, which, as the Reformation outgrew the prejudices in favour of these relics of Popery, were properly excluded from it. One might imagine that these Churchmen had adopted the old interpretation of the words of our Lord to his disciples, I have yet many things to say unto you. but ye cannot bear them now ;l which was in former times, as Augustine tells us, made to cover the traditional dreams and fantasies of Romanism, by being considered to mean that our Lord spake many things which were to be handed down to us, not m writing, but orally. These mysteries thus transmitted, it is argued. the more mature church would accept, though the apostles in their infantine condition could not bear them I But when inquiry was made as to what these great things were which the apostles were unable to receive, the answer turned out to be, as an old writer informs us,2 " forsooth, oyl and spittle in baptism, candles light at noon dayes. baptizing of bells, and such like guegaws as the grossest and carnallest men are fittest to receive." To an equally miserable state, the writers now under consideration seem to be hastening; and every man who values pure Protestantism, is bound to warn them of their danger.
